On February 3, 2026, Professor Luo Xianping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of East China University of Technology (ECUT), led a delegation to visit Jiangxi Dstone for an on-site inspection and guidance. The visit aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s development status, technological innovation capabilities, and talent demands, while providing strategic direction for future university–industry collaboration.

The delegation was warmly received and accompanied throughout the visit by Mr. Zhang Youping, Founder and Chairman of Jiangxi Dstone. During the visit, both sides held preliminary discussions focusing on industry–education integration, collaborative scientific research, and joint talent development.

Under the guidance of Chairman Zhang, President Luo and his delegation toured the production workshops, R&D center, and laboratories, where they closely observed the company’s manufacturing processes, core product displays, and research facilities. Chairman Zhang introduced the company’s development history, core business structure, and technological strengths, with particular emphasis on Jiangxi Dstone’s achievements in the field of flame-retardant and fire-resistant functional materials.
These included innovations and applications of environmentally friendly flame retardants, ceramifiable ablation-resistant additives, and char-forming agents, as well as their market performance and future growth potential.

During the subsequent symposium, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on specific cooperation models and reached preliminary consensus on multiple levels. It was unanimously agreed that this visit significantly enhanced mutual understanding and trust, laying a solid foundation for long-term and stable university–industry cooperation.

Looking ahead, both sides will actively promote the implementation of joint projects, focus on frontier industry needs, collaboratively tackle key technical challenges, and improve mechanisms for cultivating high-level professional talent. Through pragmatic cooperation, they aim to support high-quality industry development and jointly open a new chapter of win-win collaboration between universities and enterprises.
